Invitation to sponsors

The 6th Annual Alternative Splicing - Special Interest Group meeting (AS-SIG), which is organized as a satellite meeting of the annual International Conference of Intelligent Systems in Molecular Biology (ISMB), will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, in June 27-28.

Genetic regulation by alternative splicing (AS) is a rich source of transcript diversity in eukaryotes, with critical roles in development as well as disease. The meeting aims to establish a permanent forum for scientists working on AS, focusing on questions that demand collaborative inputs from both experimental and computational driven approaches. We will address the latest results and questions in the exciting field of systems-wide RNA regulation. A special focus this year will be on high-throughput methods for the analysis of protein-RNA interactions.

The Organizing Committee offers companies specialized opportunities designed exclusively for support of AS-SIG 2009. We seek sponsorship to meet expenses of invited speakers as well as to waive registration and accommodation fees for speakers as well as deserving participants who otherwise cannot attend the meeting.

Sponsor benefits include a customized package: one demonstration time (AS-SIG 2009, to be scheduled), or alternatively a Short Talk presentation during the AS-SIG meeting; Up to two posters during the AS-SIG meeting; organization name and logo slide during opening; full page b/w advertisement in the AS-SIG conference handout; logo with link to company on the AS-SIG 2009 website; help with conference registration.

AS-SIG will feature several invited speakers (with plenary talk presentations), more than a dozen selected short oral presentations, and a poster session as well as a conference dinner on the first day.

Thank you for your interest and commitment.
